We have been quiet for a while – on all our channels – but despite our silence it has been quite busy in the HeroPlugins office. As we approached the final release of our first premium theme, we devoted a great deal of time and resources towards testing and making sure it was ready.
We’ve decided to use this post to give you an update on what’s been happening, and give you an idea of what’s coming later in the year.
There’s a lot I can say about InVogue, but sometimes a demo is worth many thousands of words, so if you want to look rather than read, head over to the demo site right now to see what it looks like on a live website.
InVogue is aimed specifically at online clothing/fashion retailers, and we’ve worked to ensure full integration with the WooCommerce framework. VisualComposer is also included, should you wish to make use of its drag-and-drop functionality to further alter the layout of your website.
We’ve built it to be fully responsive, in order to provide your users with the best possible experience regardless of the device they are using to browse.
As with all our products, we wanted to make it as simple as possible to use, and we spent a great deal of time on the admin interface, but, if you’re in a hurry to get your site up and running, we have included some pre-designed demos that you can activate to have the site up and running in nearly no time at all. Just add products and your own content.
There are a lot of additional features I could mention, but you’ll find everything you need to know on the ThemeForest product page.
HeroMenu has also gotten some updates in the meantime, and now features an eyebrow section that you can switch on and off as needed for your website.
We have also added another feature for which we received quite a few requests – user roles. In other words, the ability to adapt your menu based on the roles assigned to logged in users browsing your site.
With our first theme completed, it’s time to move on to the next project, which will be another theme. Right now it is still a work in progress, but this one won’t be as complex as InVogue – we have decided to release a couple of simpler themes aimed specifically at those who are running blogs.
We’re going to keep the exact details under wraps for the time being, but it won’t be too long before we release it, and we have a few more theme releases planned for the remainder of 2016.
